A few months after having her second child, Julie joined a gym to help get rid of the stubborn extra weight. She gave up about three months in, after not seeing the results she desired in “her” timeframe. She wasn’t happy and knew she needed to be in the right mindset before starting again. She needed something with accountability, so she paid for extra classes where she’d have an instructor pushing her. Accountability is now her keyword when it comes to health and fitness. Group fitness classes worked for her in such a big way, she decided she wanted to be that person for other people. As an instructor, Julie works hard to get riders out of their comfort zones—after all, results and change aren’t found inside comfort zones. If you’re taking time out of your day to work out, she wants to use every last second, every pedal stroke, and every ounce of energy to really make it count.
